Park for a visit inside the terminal
Boise Airport publishes a Short-Term parking rate of $3 per hour, up to $33 per day, checked 23 October 2026. Use a designated parking facility when you need to leave your vehicle and meet someone inside, accompany a traveler to check-in or spend time in the terminal.
Follow current airport signs for the Short-Term facility and check the posted tariff, available spaces and vehicle clearance at the entrance. Keep track of where you parked and allow time to walk back to the car after meeting your passenger.

Use the new free cell-phone lot for pickup waiting
The airport’s cell-phone waiting lot is at 2950 S. Curtis Road, beside the Economy Lot. It has its own entrance and is approximately a five- to seven-minute drive from the terminal. The former cell-phone waiting area is closed. Update a saved map destination if it points to the old location.
Arrange for your passenger to contact you after collecting bags and confirming their pickup position. Use the waiting lot while coordinating collection; choose a paid parking facility if you intend to go into the building. A passenger-pickup waiting area is not a substitute for parking during a flight.

Coordinate the curbside stop
Keep the flight number handy and check the airline’s arrival update before leaving home. A scheduled landing time does not tell you when someone will be ready at the curb: disembarking and baggage collection take additional time. If you are collecting several travelers, agree on one pickup point and one contact person.
At the terminal, follow signs and staff directions. The curb is for active loading and unloading; do not leave your vehicle unattended while looking for your passenger. If you need extra time or must assist someone inside, park first and arrange a meeting point.
The airport’s normal passenger arrivals area is on the lower level. Rideshare collection uses a separate signed area on the upper curb, so distinguish a private pickup from an Uber or Lyft booking.
For a short flight, compare the entire stay
The Short-Term facility is not automatically the cheapest option for a one-night or weekend trip. Compare the complete charge against the airport’s other lots and any available private reservation. The BOI rates table shows the differences between the official facilities.
With private parking, confirm any minimum stay and the time of your return transfer. A low advertised daily rate may be outweighed by a separate shuttle charge on a very short visit. If a hotel package is offered, compare its accommodation and parking terms with the simpler parking-only choice.
Use the actual parking arrival and collection times when requesting a quote. Keep enough time after landing to reach the vehicle before the reservation ends.
Plan assistance and your walking route
Boise Airport provides accessible parking in its parking facilities. Request airline wheelchair assistance in advance if needed, and decide where you will meet the traveler. Do not assume that a parking discount, accessible space or assistance service is applied automatically; check the current arrangements with the relevant provider.
The official airport map links help you plan the route through the terminal. If you need a shuttle or another vehicle, confirm that it can accommodate your mobility equipment and traveling party.
