Plan check-in and security time
Airline ticket counters and check-in kiosks are on the second floor. Boise Airport recommends arriving two hours before departure, and its public area before security is open around the clock. Check your airline’s own check-in, baggage and boarding deadlines.
Plan parking and any transfer before you need to be at check-in. Keep your identification and travel documents accessible, check baggage restrictions with the airline and allow extra time if you need assistance. A published flight departure time is not the last time you can arrive at the airport.

Choose parking before setting off
Compare the airport’s Economy, surface, garage and valet options in the BOI parking rates guide. If you reserve private hotel parking, navigate to the booked property and follow its arrival instructions.
For a longer trip, consider the full price, transfer hours, cancellation terms and how you will reach the vehicle after landing. Read the long term parking guide or hotel parking guide for the questions to check. A hotel name does not establish that a room includes parking for the whole trip.
Know where your onward transport departs
Most ground transportation is outside baggage claim on the lower level. The airport uses color-coded curbs for taxis, shuttles and buses, while Uber and Lyft pickup is at the upper curb’s east end. Follow the directions for the service you have booked.
The new Rental Car Center is reached by a covered walkway west of baggage claim. If someone is collecting you, agree a pickup point after you have your bags. Our transport and shuttle guide brings together the relevant addresses and official links.

Arrange assistance before travel
Request wheelchair assistance through your airline in advance. Boise Airport provides accessible parking and participates in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program. Its official accessibility page explains assistance, family restrooms and service-animal facilities.
Travelers who want TSA Cares screening assistance should request it at least 72 hours before travel. Confirm the current process on the official TSA service page. For private parking, check both the parking space and the transfer vehicle: an accessible space does not establish that a shuttle is wheelchair accessible.
