An overnight stay usually gives more flexibility than a short connection. Work out the full journey to and from your chosen attraction, the time you want there and your airline’s check-in and gate deadlines before setting off.
Boise Airport advises arriving two hours before departure. Add the parking or hotel transfer before that terminal-arrival target. A taxi or rideshare may be useful, but journey times and availability change; leave a buffer for traffic and the security queue.
