Follow the current airport signs
Plan the route before departure, then follow current signs and staff instructions as you approach BOI. Traffic, construction and the availability of a particular parking facility can affect the final part of the journey. Keep a second parking choice in mind if your preferred airport lot is full.
Boise recommends arriving two hours before departure. Add the practical time needed for the parking option you choose, including finding the entrance, checking in with a private provider and waiting for a transfer. Consult your airline for its own check-in and baggage deadlines.

Find the correct shuttle on your return
The airport lists the green curb on the lower level for the Economy Lot shuttle and courtesy hotel shuttles. Paid shuttle services use the blue curb, with service-specific arrangements where applicable. Follow the pickup instructions for your actual booking and confirm the meeting point with the provider.
Do not board a bus simply because it says airport parking or hotel shuttle. Check the destination and whether you need to request the vehicle first. The current private Holiday Inn Express parking-only offer charges for its transfer and has limited hours; the airport’s Economy shuttle is a different service.
Passenger collection and rideshare
For a private pickup, coordinate with your arriving passenger before approaching the terminal. The current cell-phone lot is on Curtis Road; the previous waiting area is closed. Ask your passenger to collect their bags and confirm the pickup location before you leave the waiting area.
Uber and Lyft pickup uses the signed upper curb at the east end. Travelers follow the second-floor rotunda exit and the rideshare signs. Taxis use the black curb; public buses use the purple curb. Check the operating provider’s route and schedule before relying on a particular service.

Use the new Rental Car Center
The new Rental Car Center is connected to the terminal by a covered walkway west of baggage claim. Follow signs from the ground floor after collecting your luggage. The airport says no shuttle is required for this route.
For returns, use the Rickenbacker Street address and follow Rental Car Return signs from the airport approach. Allow time to refuel where required, complete the return process and walk to the terminal.

Consider walking distance, luggage and mobility needs as well as the driving route. Confirm an accessible transfer with a private provider before reserving; accessible parking does not guarantee a suitable shuttle.
